Responsible for leading and managing engineering aspects of automotive projects, from initial concept through to production. Works closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that engineering deliverables meet quality, cost, and timing objectives while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
Product Development Experience in automotive or equivalent industry Thorough knowledge of SolidWorks or, other CAD software Thorough knowledge of GD&T drafting techniques Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Access Knowledge of EPDM or other PDM software Knowledge of APQP preferred Understanding of manufacturing capabilities; i.e. machining, stamping, casting, injection molding, electronics assembly Basic knowledge of automotive mechanical & electrical systems Experience in cross-functional team
Capability to lift 20 pounds. Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.
3 - 4 years' experience with Bachelors' degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
