Telecommuting: Telecommuting is an option but candidate must live in the Breinigsville, PA area in order to be in-office at least 3 days per week.

Travel Requirement: Up to 30% of time spent on travel; 15% domestic travel; 15% international.

Team Leads Responsibilities

1. Design, develop and implement SCADA, PLC, HMI and database programs from scratch for complex industrial automation systems, utilizing platforms such as Ignition, Rockell Automation, Omron, Siemens, GE-Emerson, Automation Direct, and others.

2. Adopt best practices to create efficient, modular and maintainable PLC, HMI and DCS code using python, structured text, ladder logic or function block diagrams based on system requirements.

3. Diagnose and resolve complex issues with automation and SCADA systems as and when required.

4. Develop control logic, proper I/O mapping, and communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus) while integrating third-party devices, sensors, and actuators into automation systems.

5. Oversee the integration of PLC and SCADA systems, as well as legacy AP controllers, with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) ensuring seamless communication between field devices and higher-level control systems.

6. Implement cybersecurity best practices in control and SCADA systems to safeguard against potential threats. Create, configure, and manage virtual machines (VMs) as needed to support system development, testing, and deployment while ensuring secure and isolated environments.
