Software Engineer Lead

As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Corporate Functions Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh-PA or Strongsville-OH. We are seeking a highly experienced Python Developer to join our Model Integration Platform team, supporting CECL and CCAR execution on a high-performance, on-prem Linux cluster. This role operates in a fast-paced Agile environment with two-week sprints and requires close collaboration with a geographically distributed team. Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in PySpark. Proven ability to build and optimize data pipelines and RESTful APIs. Hands-on experience with Pandas, Parquet, and Linux-based environments. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint-based development. Expertise in version control systems (Bitbucket, Git) and collaborative development workflows.

Job Description

Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions. Proposes and designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required. Facilitates complex problem resolution. Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software. Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $179,400.00 Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
