Service Manager for the shop to oversee the technicians and manage the complete repair process from intake to close. Requirements include scheduling and shop loading, preparing the shop workload, assignment of work to accomplish the initial diagnosis, communicating the initial diagnosis and additional repairs, overseeing staff up to 20 technicians, assigning the technician best suited to perform the repair, accepting all work flow of LINQ cases for estimating assistance, allocating maximum time to be on the shop floor assisting the technicians, knowing the estimated scope and value of each repair order, achieving and maintaining a minimum retail recovery rate, managing the RO for timely closing, understanding and ensuring the quality of tech write up for retail and warranty repair orders.
Education and/or experience: minimum high school diploma required, two year associates management degree or equivalent/years of experience, minimum three years of experience working in a supervisory capacity in a Heavy Duty Diesel Branch Service Operation, must have previous Heavy Duty Diesel Technical experience, familiarity with Microsoft Office, four year business management degree is a plus.

Additionally, ensure alignment with corporate goals, continuously monitor technician performance, address problematic performance early, create an environment where employees feel valued, demonstrate a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of the job, complete annual performance appraisals on time, and ensuring the safe operation of the facility and the safety of the employees by promoting a culture of safety.
