Security Officer Position

Security officers needed in Evans City, $15.75/hr. Security officers are needed at a manufacturing site in Evans City. The site requires officers on duty 24/7 so some flexibility in scheduling is needed. This position requires walking the perimeter among other duties - Sat/Sun/Mon/Tue 8P-6A - $15/hr. + $.75 (shift differential of .75 and hour). Temp to hire.

Responsibilities:

• Walking the perimeter among other duties
• Monitoring the site through manual observation (walking the perimeter) and the use of on-site cameras.
• Greeting visitors
• Assigning the proper security badge to each visitor
• Inspection of incoming and outgoing vehicles
• Receiving and relaying emergency calls related to the site and completion of daily/weekly/monthly checks

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a drug screen, a physical, and a client specific background check
• Experience in the security field or completion of a security course is preferred.
• Must be comfortable working with computers, specifically using Excel, email and general data entry.
• A proven history of working well in stressful situations is also preferred.
