Part-Time Sales Associate - Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is looking for friendly, motivated individuals to join our Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores as part-time sales associates. You'll be the face of our store, engaging with customers, assisting with sales, and contributing to a positive shopping atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and help shoppers find what they need.
  • Manage sales transactions with a computerized cash register.
  • Unload shipments, stock shelves, and set up product displays.
  • Receive, assemble, and pack wholesale customer orders.
  • Safely lift products weighing 30 to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
  • Stand for extended periods of time.
  • Keep the store clean and organized.
  • Utilize scanners, box cutters, dollies, carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
  • Follow all legal guidelines to ensure alcohol is sold only to customers who are legally permitted to buy it.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

This store is situated near major highway(s) for easy access, free parking is available for staff, is located near a variety of food and restaurant options, and is close to popular attractions and neighborhood hubs. Permanent, part-time employment. Preferred availability: 13 - 20 hours per week. Flexible shifts are available, typically ranging from 4 - 8 hours per shift. Availability on a rotating basis will be scheduled during the week and weekend, both with daytime and evening hours. Work schedules will be assigned between the following hours/days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 8:00am - 9:15pm. Wednesday, 7:00am - 9:15pm. Sunday, 10:30am - 7:30pm. Work hours will vary. A minimum of 13 hours per week will be required with the ability to work more hours per week, depending on availability. There is the opportunity to work up to 32 hours per week. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Store Location: You will be headquartered in the store listed at the top of this posting. You may be assigned to work in other stores within the county or district based on operational needs.
