Rf Engineer

The RF Engineer will lead the engineering development, prototyping, design verification, and transition to production of complex analog, digital, and radio frequency products. This role is vital in fostering innovation and ensuring the seamless integration of engineering processes.

Responsibilities:

• Work cross-functionally across the organization including program management, procurement, operations, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, test, production, business development, and contracts.
• Create innovative ideas in support of internal research and development.
• Generate and implement improvements in product design and test throughput.
• Interface directly with customers and suppliers to support technical issues.
• Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to engineering and test staff.
• Research and apply electrical engineering principles and theories to solve customer problems.
• Support full program life cycles, including concept, specification, prototype, production, and sustainment.
• Lead teams of design engineers using established design and development process models such as CMMI or Six Sigma for Design.
• Create, review, and approve Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Requests for Variances (RFVs).
• Support and lead systems engineering, software engineering, and mechanical engineering efforts.
• Create and update corporate and engineering processes and procedures.
• Perform other functions as needed to support the company's goals.

Essential Skills:

• Bachelor of Science degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Prior experience with RF components.
• Knowledge of PCB projects, including design of the board, schematic, circuit, schematic capture, and CAD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in military or defense-related projects.
• Familiarity with design and development process models such as CMMI or Six Sigma for Design.

Work Environment:

The RF Engineer will work with a team of seven other Electrical Engineers on current and future Department of Defense level projects. The work environment includes both office settings and electronics manufacturing floors.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LITITZ, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
