The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

• Designing and testing electronic circuitry
• Generating test plans and protocols
• Analyzing test results and composing test reports
• Troubleshooting problems during testing, assuming ownership of specific test methods and sub-modules, and routinely providing read-outs to the larger hardware team about the progress of their work

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

• Enrollment in Electrical Engineering degree program
• Completion of at least second year of a Bachelors degree
• Experience with basic electronic test equipment
• Classwork in circuits, hardware design, physics, and statistics
• Attention to detail, positive attitude, good work ethic
• Ability to independently troubleshoot
• Teamwork experience through coursework, lab work, and/or internship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in MathCAD, Matlab, and schematic entry tools
• Medical device classwork

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $23.20 to $44.20. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
