Process Engineer

As a Process Engineer, you'll establish, maintain, and continually improve our manufacturing processes and systems. You'll focus on improving quality, reducing costs, and creating best practices that make our operations stronger and more efficient. Your day-to-day impact will include: Organizing, implementing, and maintaining production processes Developing assembly instructions, workmanship standards, and process documentation Driving continuous improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost savings Performing root cause analysis and corrective actions for process, machine, and programming issues Partnering with design engineering on DFX (Design for Cost, Test, Manufacturability, and Assembly) Researching and justifying new technologies to improve quality, reduce costs, and increase capacity Programming manufacturing and inspection equipment Liaising with suppliers to strengthen manufacturing processes

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in PCBA manufacturing and assembly processes
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
• Analytical skills with the ability to research, analyze trends, and present data clearly
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and process documentation
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and adapt in a rapidly changing environment

Education & Experience: 5+ years' relevant process engineering experience Technical degree highly preferred but not required

This is a Permanent position based out of East Pittsburgh, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
