Primary Purpose Of Position

The Turbine Services Planner/Scheduler (Outage) is responsible for the development and control of the discipline schedules including balancing the workload by obtaining input from available resources with the emphasis on schedule consistency and workability, which supports meeting all Outage indicators. Successfully maintaining accurate schedules throughout development, execution, and publishing updated discipline schedules as required. Turbine Services scheduler will also be responsible to support work package customization when additional planning support is required.

Primary Duties And Accountabilities

  • Plan and prepare work instructions that provide direction for corrective maintenance repairs, performance of preventive maintenance, and the implementation of modifications. Select and approve purchase or make procurement recommendations for all materials needed for work package execution.
  • Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective and preventive maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities and to provide input for refining and improving work package quality. Interface and collaborate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package issues.
  • Develop revise, and review maintenance procedures to facilitate and enhance work package development, maintain compliance with codes, standards, and vendor recommendation, and maintenance direction.
  • Coordinate, develop, and update schedules to ensure an accurate product for use in effective planning, resource allocation, parts acquisitions, and schedule execution.
  • Develop detailed, accurate, and usable schedules and reports to provide effective management tools for execution and feedback. Coordinate with work management departments as required to ensure interactive components in the schedule can be met.
  • Assist in the development of contingency plans by working with Project Managers and Field Leads.
  • Support planning with work package customization

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience OR current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 2 years of related experience OR associate's degree and 4 years of related experience OR high school diploma or GED and 6 years of related experience OR maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.

Preferred Qualifications

Work Schedule program knowledge (P6), Asset Management knowledge (Asset Suite), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) training as applies to discipline in reactor or turbine projects
