Pharmacy Technician (Non-Cert) - Pharmacy Services Main

Location: US:PA: Hershey | Pharmacy | Full Time

Summary Of Position:

Provides assistance with the order entry preparation and distribution of drug products under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Maintains appropriate inventory of drug supplies and a system of control to ensure the integrity of the purchases, control of supplies and proper accounting for their distribution.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Six (6) months of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy with an educational background in medical terminology and computer use required OR graduate of a formalized Pharmacy Technician Training Program with a minimum of 120 hours in an externship program required. Ability to get certified from PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certified Boards) required within six (6) months.
