Sales Professional Role At Proofpoint

Proofpoint is looking for a high performing Sales professional to join their Named Account team selling to Enterprise accounts. This team offers networking, professional education, and career growth opportunities. The role involves managing 10-20 named accounts, working with partners to gain access to new accounts, and selling the full Proofpoint Platform. The Named Account Manager reports to the Named Account Sales Director and must reside in Pittsburg, PA.

Expectations include a consistent track record of overachievement, high weekly activity with customers and partners, continued engagement with existing accounts, meeting revenue expectations, maintaining an active account plan, delivering quarterly reviews, securing renewals, educating on the Proofpoint Roadmap, delivering accurate forecasts, and being a team player.

Job requirements include developing and executing a path to plan with focus on forecast accuracy and Salesforce hygiene, a relentless attention to detail, strong presentation skills, and technical understanding of cybersecurity. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of field sales experience selling complex cyber security solutions, a demonstrable track record of success, experience working with channel partners, and the ability to identify customer business drivers and develop complex proposals.
