Mechanical Design Engineer Opportunity

Let's go to work. I'm needing a Mechanical Design Engineer in Erie, PA. Successful candidate will be responsible for the structural design of industrial high voltage cabinets - sheet metal fabrications used to house high voltage electrical equipment used in the propulsion system of mining vehicles and locomotives. Additional duties will be:

• Designing mechanical enclosures for electrical equipment assemblies for shock and vibration loads.
• Design of sheet metal fabrications.
• Designing cast and molded components.
• Design of machined and fabricated components.
• GD&T and weld specifications on drawings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
• 5+ years demonstrated experience in the field of electrical mechanical packaging and thermal design.
• Strong NX, Ansys Workbench experience.
