Human Resources Manager

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join a team at a healthcare-focused nonprofit organization in Norristown, Pennsylvania. This fully onsite role offers an excellent opportunity to oversee HR operations across multiple locations within close proximity. This is a contract-to-long-term position, providing the prospect of sustained employment and growth within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including healthcare plans and proprietary payroll systems.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Handle employee relations matters, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and streamline processes.
  • Develop and implement training programs through platforms like Relias to support staff development.
  • Conduct background checks, drug screenings, and ensure proper documentation for employees.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support strategic HR initiatives and organizational goals.
  • Monitor and manage performance evaluations to ensure staff accountability and growth.
  • Coordinate occasional evening or weekend activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in human resources management within a healthcare or nonprofit environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR administration practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HR systems such as Relias.
  • Ability to handle benefits management and proprietary payroll systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
  • Capability to perform background checks and drug screenings with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of training program development and implementation.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a physical examination.
