Job Opportunity: Direct Care Provider

We are looking to fill specific set schedules in our homes. If you need a set schedule, but also have a little flexibility to help cover other shifts, in times of need, contact us today- we may have just what you are looking for! All positions are full-time. The individual in this position will be responsible for providing direct care to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include:

• Provide a clean and safe home-like environment for consumers.
• Provide direct care and support assisting residents to be as independent as can be.
• Participate as part of the interdisciplinary team, working on goals and charting progress.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual paperwork.
• Administer medications.
• Transport consumers to appointments and community outings.
• Hoyer lift experience preferred and must be able to perform wheelchair transfers at the Carmichaels locations.

• Accredited state high school diploma or GED required.
• On-line diploma must meet the requirements of the PA Department of Education.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass child abuse history, FBI, and criminal record check clearances.
