Deployment Network Engineer

Our client is seeking a Deployment Network Engineer to join their team. Work location: Pittsburgh and Memphis. 12 months Contract. Onsite. Must-have skills for this role: 1. Routing & Switching 2. SDWAN 3. VRFs. Years of experience required for each skill: 8+ years of experience. Some nice-to-have skills: 1. Understanding of Cisco ACI 2. IPSec VPN.

Job description/responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement network solutions based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Deploy routers, switches, wireless controllers, and other network equipment.
• Ensure smooth migration from legacy systems to new infrastructure with minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams during implementation phases to manage timelines and dependencies.
• Perform network testing and validation to ensure compliance with performance and security standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network architecture, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues during and after implementation.
• Ensure all network deployments adhere to company policies and industry best practices.
• Provide training and handoff to network operations teams post-deployment.
