Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative for our client in New Holland, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in addressing customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction, and maintaining records of interactions. This position offers the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively to provide exceptional service and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming customer inquiries and provide accurate information to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Identify service concerns and determine whether they can be addressed by the customer service team or need escalation.
  • Resolve customer issues within your authority, including areas such as underwriting, claims, accounting, and marketing.
  • Redirect unresolved matters to the appropriate department for further assistance.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service inquiries.
  • Analyze trends in customer concerns and communicate findings to support root cause analysis.
  • Greet visitors professionally and manage their access to the building if working at the front desk.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing and assembling renewal mailings when needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor to support the team.

Requirements:

  • Strong ability to handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism.
  • Proven experience in customer service or call center environments.
  • Proficiency in data entry and maintaining organized records.
  • Solid skills in email correspondence and scheduling appointments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.
  • Experience with order entry processes and managing customer information.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for addressing customer needs.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to various responsibilities effectively.
