In this position, you will perform as a lead worker in the instruction and performance of routine and specialized tasks regarding food service operations. Your work will involve conducting food service work and providing instruction to inmates through on-the-job vocational training. Training will consist of instructing inmates in food preparation and production according to recipes, safe and sanitary operation of tools and equipment, maintenance, and storage practices. You will also review census and menu data, adjust recipes, and recycle leftover food. Additionally, you will maintain care, custody, and control over inmates during work assignments.
