Associate Director for Organon's Enterprise Services and Solutions

As an Associate Director for Organon's Enterprise Services and Solutions (ESS) End User Computing Team, you will play a critical role in implementing strategies that drive innovation, automation, manage risks, and ensure the effective delivery of technology solutions. This position is responsible for the management of Modern Workplace devices, including oversight of Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) infrastructure, managing the Organon build images, security and vulnerability patching, and application packaging and deployment. The role requires strong leadership to manage, automate, deploy and support operations and encompasses strategic planning for implementing Modern Workplace technologies including associated tools and processes. The position requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement engineering solutions to manage Microsoft Windows Enterprise Workstations and Virtual Desktops, ensuring they meet client requirements while adhering to best practices and risk management protocols.
  • Strategy driven leader to provide hands-on support and guidance for complex technical issues and projects, stepping in when necessary to resolve critical challenges.
  • Collaborate with a variety of teams to implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues associated with technology implementation and client delivery.
  • Adhere to all engineering practices for safety and security standards, maintaining a secure agile environment, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Provide clear, data-driven recommendations for engineering approaches and solutions, balancing innovation with practicality.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in Managed Services oversight of Core Infrastructure, relevant Microsoft technologies, and various software deployment methodologies including experience with OSD imaging creation, maintenance, and deployment.
  • Experience with Patch Management and Change Control Systems for over 30K devices.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting/Data Warehouse and with Intune device management.
  • Working knowledge of modern desktop management, including Intune and Autopilot.
  • IT Systems Administration experience in workstation, client, and mobile-related infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies including Auto Pilot, industry trends, and best practices in client engineering.
  • SCCM/MECM/INTUNE knowledge, patching and deployment experience, Windows Desktop, Policy Management/Design. Knowledge of client management, Windows 11, Office 365/Office LTSC.
  • Experience in AI-capable automation solutions.
  • Strong ITIL and process discipline to ensure compliance within the managed services framework and the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
