3rd Shift Laborers Needed

East Butler manufacturer is in need of laborers for a glass manufacturing plant. Schedule: Sunday night to Friday morning. 11pm - 7:30am, some overtime as needed. Pay Rate: $17.20/hr + 8% differential=$18.58/hr Temp to hire: This job is meant to be a long term fit. Benefits upon hire include: health care benefits and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Glass Cutter Position involves lifting large sheets of glass by a device. Setting up the glass and adjusting the cutting table / CNC Machine and breaking apart the smaller pieces of glass.
• Glass Seamer will be responsible for preparing and seaming glass products to ensure durability, quality, and safety by inspecting glass for defects & maintaining equipment.
• De-Bagger: Removing laminated glass from autoclave racks and will be responsible for the safe and efficient removal of glass products from bagging materials, carefully removing glass items from bags to prevent damage, prior to quality inspection.
• Potting: This role involves preparing glass materials, ensuring quality control during the potting process, and adhering to safety and production standards. Key tasks include mixing potting compounds, applying materials to glass components, and performing routine maintenance on potting equipment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 to 75 pounds frequently during shifts.
• Must be able to crouch, bend and stay in this position as required.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Must be reliable and attend shifts on time!
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and client specific background check.
