We believe people should love what they do—in this role, you will be responsible for: Performing mechanical properties testing, evaluation of in-house heat-treated parts, assisting with failure analysis projects, checking incoming parts for metallurgical conformance, evaluating microstructures of steel, aluminum, and other materials, assisting in monitoring of plating and cleaning solutions (wet chemistry), documenting test and evaluation results, and communicating with engineers, mentor, and internal customers in regard to materials investigations.
Student should be engaged in the pursuit of a B.S. in an accredited Materials Science/Engineering or Metallurgy program. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with metallurgical lab procedures.
