Duties include helping to set up for undergraduate laboratory activities such as distributing materials like pens, samples, plants, and microbial plates across lab benches, bringing plants into the teaching area from growth areas. Take down duties include clearing lab work areas of all used materials and returning them to their storage areas or plants to growth areas. Plant activities include planting and maintaining geraniums, tobacco, tomato, mimosa, and melon plants for a variety of lab activities. TAs will also help students complete the lab assignments by providing feedback on their experimental setups. Pot washing duties include washing small 3.5" square pots used for plants grown for lab activities, stacking them to dry, and replacing them in the pot storage cabinet.
