The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Penn State is seeking a part-time Education Support Coordinator. OLLI is a membership-based, volunteer-driven organization that provides educational, social, and travel experiences for mature adults. This vibrant, community-focused organization is seeking a program enrichment coordinator (education program support – part time). This part-time position (average of 20 hours per week) will provide support for OLLI courses and programming. Duties include but are not limited to classroom support, communications with OLLI members and instructors, scheduling, and general office support utilizing Microsoft Office Suite. The successful candidate will have the ability to shift duties or tasks quickly, remain comfortable and calm serving mature adults, and work independently on assigned tasks.
The schedule for this position is flexible and may change based on the course and event dates and times, though support is generally needed during OLLI's typical programming times: Monday – Friday between 8:30 – 4:30. This position is primarily in-person with the possibility for online work, driven by the programming being offered. The actual schedule will be based on the successful candidate and OLLI's needs.
