The Food Service Management Trainee Program provides orientation and training for approximately the first year of employment designed for those interested in a career in university and college food services. Assist in overseeing food service operations at specific residential or retail dining locations. Food Service Manager's primary responsibility is creating an environment for excellence in customer service through product and services oversight, effective personnel supervision, regulatory compliance, cost containment, business growth and trend awareness.

Bachelor's Degree. No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education. Required Certifications: None.

Salary & Benefits:
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $42,100.00 - $61,000.00. Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
