Field Service / Trading Representative
Responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service to producers and Field Offices on HTK products, services, processes, and paperwork. The Field Service / Trading Representative will support all facets of trading activities including the timely placement of securities transactions. Additionally, the Field Service /Trading Representative will proactively cultivate service relationships with HTK producers and Field Managers.

Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated support via phone and email to HTK Producers and Field Management in an efficient and accurate manner
- Execute and approve equity, option, fixed income, and mutual fund trades via the Pershing NetExchange Pro platform
- Provide equity quotes and inventories of fixed income products to financial representatives
- Provide information to producers and other field office personnel regarding processing HTK business
- Review service reports to assure the timely resolution of outstanding service requests
- Responsible for researching items by accepting inquiries from the field, tracking results, and assuring the field receives communication regarding the status and / or completion of the request
- Provide education to HTK Producers and Field Management on the tools available to obtain requested information through such things as our clearing firm platform, proprietary websites, Producers Guides, and other materials
- Effectively explain to field personnel HTK's policies and procedures for conducting business
- Act as liaison between Pershing and the clearing firm
- Handle more complex and escalated issues
- Represent HTK Operations at departmental meetings
- Provide 1:1 training to visiting Field Office staff on the trading process
- Provide project level support as needed
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry, and of general market trading practices
- Highly resourceful with the ability to look beyond the obvious
- Excellent relationship and collaborative skills

Education:
- College degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred
Experience:
- 5-7 years of customer service experience working in a financial setting and / or trading desk experience required and
- Experience with Pershing products, procedures, and NetExchange Pro system preferred and
- Experience with DST Vision preferred
Licenses:
- FINRA Series 7 within 60 days required and
- FINRA Series 24 license preferred
Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
