Marketing Manager

Construction is one of the largest industries in the world, but it is also one of the least technologically innovative spaces. Conducting fast and accurate cost estimates is a massive pain point because of the tedious nature of takeoffs (measuring & counting materials needed from the drawings). Bobyard automates the construction takeoff process with CV and NLP models to make cost estimates 10x faster while eliminating mistakes.

We are a lean startup backed by some of the best VCs in the world: Primary and Pear. Almost all of the work lies ahead of us. We are excited to create next-gen software for the built world!

Position Overview

Bobyard is seeking a Marketing Manager to build, operate, and scale the systems behind our growth engine. You'll own the strategy and execution of how we generate, convert, and measure demand - spanning paid media, SEO, content, lifecycle marketing, and analytics.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can think strategically and execute precisely - planning campaigns, managing budgets, integrating platforms, and analyzing funnel performance to improve CAC, ROI, and conversion rates. You'll blend creative storytelling with technical rigor to drive growth and brand impact across every trade we serve.

What You'll Do

  1. Own the marketing stack - connect HubSpot, Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and analytics tools into a unified system that tracks marketing performance to revenue.

  2. Plan and launch campaigns - manage paid and organic programs across digital, traditional, and trade channels to drive qualified pipeline.

  3. Manage creative and content production - oversee videos, ads, blogs, and event materials that align with Bobyard's brand and product initiatives.

  4. Drive SEO and website performance - develop keyword strategy, optimize landing pages, and measure organic growth and conversion.

  5. Implement tracking and attribution - manage UTMs, pixels, and conversion events with RevOps to ensure accurate funnel reporting.

  6. Monitor budgets and performance - track spend, pacing, and ROI across all channels; reallocate to optimize CAC and payback.

  7. Build reporting and dashboards - use Equals to visualize funnel performance, campaign ROI, and pipeline efficiency.

  8. Run experiments and optimizations - A/B test ad creative, messaging, and landing pages to continuously improve results.

  9. Collaborate cross-functionally - partner with Sales, RevOps, and Product Marketing to align campaigns, messaging, and attribution.

Desired Attributes

  • 4–6 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing or growth roles.

  • Deep experience with HubSpot (campaigns, workflows, and reporting).

  • Proficiency in digital ad platforms (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube) and analytics tools (GA4, Equals, Looker).

  • Strong understanding of CAC, LTV, payback, and funnel conversion metrics.

  • Familiarity with SEO strategy and content performance tracking.

  • Builder mindset - data-driven, iterative, and highly organized.

  • Excellent communicator who can translate data into action and strategy into growth.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary plus equity options (target $120k - $155k base + equity).

  • Opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic, driven team.

  • Build a massive company.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in San Francisco. We're looking for people with exceptional learning velocity and follow-through. If you can build and execute systems that move as fast as our market, and do so with precision and impact, we want to work with you.
