ResiQuant Frontend Developer

At ResiQuant, we're tackling one of the biggest challenges in disaster resilience: the lack of accurate, standardized, and dynamic property data. In a world increasingly impacted by climate change and natural disasters like earthquakes, hurricanes, and wildfires, decisions about risk are often made with incomplete or incorrect information.

Our mission is to empower insurers, financial institutions, and asset managers with AI systems fused with structural engineering expertise. These systems bridge critical data gaps to deliver precise, actionable building insights for better decision-making.

Founded by Stanford PhDs, we are committed to leveraging cutting-edge AI to protect communities and businesses from disaster impacts. At ResiQuant, we're building a future where every organization has access to world-class property risk intelligence to drive resilience and safeguard what matters most.

About You

You will build the customer-facing interfaces that make complex AI-driven building risk intelligence accessible to insurance professionals at Fortune 500 companies. You'll own the frontend experience that transforms structural engineering insights into intuitive dashboards and workflows, directly influencing billion-dollar underwriting decisions. You'll work directly with our founders and seasoned software development and product designer leaders, rapidly iterating on interfaces that determine whether major insurance carriers adopt our platform.

You will get to:

  • Build sophisticated data visualization interfaces for enterprise insurance customers

  • Architect frontend systems that support 15+ concurrent enterprise implementations

  • Shape the interface experience that will redefine how an entire industry manages disaster risk

  • Collaborate daily with very experienced platform engineers on product strategy and design decisions

You are a builder who wake up thinking about growth, stay hungry for the next challenge, and see every obstacle as fuel for their relentless drive to create something bigger.

You're analytically minded and AI-first in your development approach. You excel at abstracting complex problems and finding elegant solutions. You're already using AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex to accelerate your development, and you see AI as a multiplier for building enterprise-quality interfaces at startup speed.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interface Ownership : Design and build enterprise-grade dashboards that process millions of property records and serve real-time risk insights to Fortune 500 underwriters

Qualifications

  1. You're driven by ownership, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by building a category-defining product. You see this as a transformative career opportunity, not just a job.

  2. 0-5 years. Sweet spot: 1-3 years. Open to exceptional new grads with strong academic projects or internships. Prioritizing hunger and growth mindset over extensive experience.

  3. Computer Science degree

  4. AI tool proficiency - experienced using modern AI tools for automation, prototyping, and productivity

  5. Tech stack : React.js, TypeScript, Python, AWS/GCP, CI/CD pipelines.

  6. Full commitment to in-person work - willing to be on-site in San Francisco 5 days/week for rapid collaboration with the team and work long hours

Startup intensity and ownership mentality - work is your #1 priority, comfortable with fast-paced, high-stakes environment
