Under the direction of the Sr. Dir, Careers and Workforce Strategy the Dir, Recruiting will oversee the life cycle of recruiting and on-boarding activities of the Talent Acquisition (TA). The Dir, Recruiting operates as a strategic business partner in support of regional leadership. The Dir, Recruiting will identify a unified strategic platform for recruiting clinical and non-clinical roles. The role will also engage and collaborate with leadership teams to establish a common understanding of processes, outcomes and service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the recruiting platform across the enterprise by leading the strategy, design, implementation and maintenance of programs, systems supporting processes, policies and procedures around recruiting and evolving PDS Health’s value proposition.
  • Provides centralized group to support the regions for all clinical and non-clinical recruiting.
  • Develops and implements strategic initiatives to ensure appropriate talent/workforce resources for the company.
  • Works with Regional Partners to implement solutions that support alignment with organizational imperatives.
  • Trains management on TA related activities such as interviewing techniques and processes.
  • Develops and executes offer strategies in conjunction with leadership and the Compensation Department to ensure efficient and consistent implementation of compensation practices.
  • Implements process improvement solutions to existing TA processes, procedures and systems.
  • Ensure proper recruiting support of technology projects, implementations, integrations, system upgrades and improvements.
  • Solutions partner and trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders such as IT, E-PMO, Field Operations, Finance, People Operations to optimize the use of tools, drive recruiting process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility.
  • Builds upon the strategic initiatives of the organization while implementing new programs that will improve on the operational effectiveness of the system.
  • Manage department performance and productivity to maintain PDS’ standards for performance and that policies and procedures are documented, administered and interpreted in a fair and consistent manner. Coach, mentor and motivate a team to successful outcomes.
  • Lead discussions and negotiate across multiple functions (intra and interdepartmental business owners and subject matter experts) to prioritize systems projects, enhancements, additional functionality based on organization wide needs.
  • Analyze and report metrics on recruiting activities in support of strategic decision-making initiatives and for ongoing measurement and continual improvement. Based on the data propose and implement strategies for improving outcomes.
  • Influence operational and executive leadership to create alignment around the project business objectives, measurable benefits, success criteria, scope and constraints impacting project delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, Human Resources Certificate, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. In lieu of degree, +5 years of relevant work experience.
  • 10+ years of related Talent Acquisition work experience, including 6+ years of experience in a leadership role.

Preferred

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail or Dental company.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong abilities in managing the daily operations of department(s) or work unit while developing long term (3-5 years) goals.
  • Extensive knowledge of full-cycle Talent Acquisition process and best practices.
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities to understand and process complex information and exercise sound judgement.
  • Outstanding leadership skills; plus exceptional time management and prioritization abilities. Dedication to personal development and education.
  • Well organized and resourceful; effective and efficient at marshaling multiple resources to get things done.
  • Attack everything with drive and energy with an eye on the bottom line; not afraid to initiate action before all the facts are known; drive to finish everything he/she starts.
  • Ability to build trust with those requiring coaching, create a win/win need for change, and recognize and celebrate improvement to sustain change.
  • Possesses "big picture" perspective and able to accomplish that through proper level of articulation across team.

Compensation Information $153,000.00-$207,000.00 / Annually
