Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer who is passionate about building intuitive, scalable, and high-performance web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver best-in-class lending experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications for Paytm's lending products
• Translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into high-quality frontend code
• Develop reusable components and frontend libraries for scalability and consistency
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow
• Ensure code quality through best practices, reviews, and testing
• Participate in feature planning, technical discussions, and architectural decisions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js (preferred)
• Good understanding of state management, component-based architecture, and REST APIs
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with Git, version control, and agile development practices
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Good To Have

• Experience working on fintech or lending products
• Exposure to Next.js, performance optimization, and SEO best practices
• Understanding of frontend security, authentication flows, and data protection
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
