We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage and service a book of commercial insurance clients, focusing on strong relationship management, timely renewals, and responsive client service. This is a full-time remote position supporting our main office in South Windsor, CT, as well as all Newberry locations.
Serve as the primary contact for assigned commercial lines accounts, providing responsive, professional service.
Market client accounts to negotiate and secure the most appropriate insurance coverage for both new and renewal business.
Manage accounts by responding to inquiries, explaining coverages and premiums, facilitating policy or billing changes, and assisting with the claims process.
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, binders, and endorsements.
Research and resolve coverage issues, billing discrepancies, and other service concerns in a timely manner.
Review policies, endorsements, contracts, and certificates of insurance for accuracy and compliance.
Maintain accurate and current records in the Agency Management System, including suspense management.
Stay informed on carrier underwriting appetite, pricing trends, and industry developments.
3+ years of prior commercial lines service experience, including policy changes, billing, audits, and renewal remarketing.
Prior experience using AMS360 or Epic is required.
Active Connecticut Property & Casualty license.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
Well organized and detail-oriented with a solutions-driven mindset.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
