✨ About The Role
- The role involves providing 1-on-1 mentorship to help fellows develop their technical interviewing skills in the Civil Engineering track
- Responsibilities include conducting kick-off sessions, preparing materials, and guiding fellows through technical and behavioral aspects of the job search
- Mentors will need to commit a few hours per week to preparing materials, leveraging existing Pathrise curriculum content, and responding to fellow’s emails
- The goal is to help fellows not only pass interviews but also gain confidence in their abilities and ultimately land their dream job
- The position offers a flexible schedule, remote work in the US & Canada, and compensation ranging from $21 for a 30-minute coaching session to $55 for a 1-hour workshop
âš¡ Requirements
- Ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in Engineering or Engineering Management, with prior teaching experience being a plus
- Must have a good understanding of the current requirements of Civil Engineering roles in the tech industry and beyond
- Experience working cross-functionally with different teams and fluency in various topics like OKR’s, KPI’s, P&L, and more is required
- Prior startup experience and hiring experience are preferred for this role
- Excited about shaping the skills, minds, and trajectories of the newest generation of civil engineering professionals
