Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join their 12-month Graduate Programme as a Graduate Cybersecurity Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to launch your career in the dynamic field of cybersecurity, working alongside industry experts to protect critical systems and data. The programme offers comprehensive training, mentorship, and hands-on experience across various domains of cybersecurity, including security operations, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security architecture.

What you will be doing:

• Assist in the monitoring, analysis, and response to security incidents within the Security Operations Centre (SOC).
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of security technologies and controls.
• Contribute to the development and updating of security policies and procedures.
• Participate in security awareness initiatives and training for employees.
• Assist with threat intelligence gathering and analysis to proactively identify emerging risks.

What our client is looking for:

• A relevant tertiary degree (Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, etc.).
• Foundational understanding of networking (TCP/IP, firewalls), operating systems (Windows, Linux), and fundamental security concepts (confidentiality, integrity, availability).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A genuine interest and passion for cybersecurity and continuous learning.
