Your Impact

We are looking for a Technical Service Technician who will contribute to the success of the Services team by applying their experience in calibration, maintenance, and repair to support the team and company goals. This role requires effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as a commitment to professional excellence, quality, and continuous improvement.

The Role

This professional will be responsible for managing and executing services on instruments (calibration and repair) at the Service Center in São Paulo, Brazil. Reporting to the Gerente de Serviços, the position ensures customer satisfaction through efficient maintenance and repairs performed within deadlines. The main focus of the role is customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of product and service quality.

Responsibilities of the Position

  • Calibration in the field (on-site) and in the internal laboratory of PMS equipment, according to internal procedures.
  • Repairs on PCB (printed circuit boards) benches.
  • Opening of service orders.
  • Maintenance of the service order control system.
  • Generation of calibration certificates.
  • Development of technical knowledge about applications, technology, and particle counting principles.
  • Continuous evaluation of processes for efficiency, quality, and safety improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • English spoken and written at a good level (mandatory).
  • Technical training in Electronics or Automation, or currently pursuing higher education in a related field, with practical experience.
  • Experience in technical assistance of measurement equipment, laboratory, or hospital.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Availability to travel up to 60% of the time.
  • Collaborative profile, with a focus on customer satisfaction, quality, and sense of urgency.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of lasers and/or collection and condensation optics.
  • Experience in service operations in electronics or pharmaceutical metrology.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Predominantly working in an office and laboratory environment. Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting of loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
