Software Integration Engineer

Part-time Associate Software Engineer

Parsons is seeking a talented Part-time Associate Software Engineer to join our growing team! In this role you will provide program support in an experienced team environment analyzing software products.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Analyzing, designing, and developing computer software required to support communications applications and command and control models.
• Collaborating within a team environment to ensure consistent product development.
• Testing and debugging related software.
• Working with senior engineering staff to develop and integrate software and hardware products.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• No clearance required to start, but you must be a US Citizen and be willing/able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI Security Clearance with counterintelligence polygraph.
• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with related work experience.
• Experience with C++ and Python.
• Effective communication skills with technical team members, managers, and customers.
• Ability to self-research and solve problems, and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highly dynamic environment.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Understanding of and experience with software/hardware product integration.
• Familiar with Graphical User Interface (GUI) tools, such as Qt, PyQt, or PyCharm.
• Networking (TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast, sockets, etc.).
• SQL databases experience.
