With over 70 locations spanning from coast to coast, and trade links around the globe, P&H is growth-oriented, diversified and vertically integrated with operations spanning across grain merchandising, flour milling, crop input distribution and animal feed production.

Your role as Operations Manager will oversee and manage the overall performance, maintenance, and safe, efficient operations of our Shantz Station Terminal.

Day to Day:

• Responsible for the business development and customer service operations of the facility
• Manage the quality control and blending of grain
• Oversee the daily operation of the facility
• Perform regular maintenance and repair on facility equipment
• Supervise and develop elevator operators to ensure business needs are executed safely, efficiently and profitably
• Oversee food safety compliance
• Work collaboratively with other business areas and departments

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in the operation of a grain elevator
• Through knowledge and understanding of the grain industry, including grading factors and elevator equipment
• Experience in team management or supervision, demonstrating effective leadership abilities
• Proven analytical, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving capabilities
• Proficient computer skills with aptitude for learning and adapting to new software applications
