- Deploying effective systemic security controls in AWS and web applications, focusing on code, access management, network, and asset configuration
- Investigating and planning major projects on the platform security team to ensure successful on-time delivery
- Fostering operational excellence through least privilege access, incident response drills, and process improvement
- Partnering with engineers, Tech Leads, and InfoSec and IT teams to build a stronger collective understanding of security best practices
- Designing, writing, testing, reviewing, and adapting security controls and systems to protect student data and ensure confidentiality
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced security engineer with a track record of working on high-impact projects and overcoming challenges in software security or cloud security
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a proactive and collaborative mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and lead major projects related to platform security
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and automation tools for managing vulnerabilities and cloud security
- Active involvement in the information security community or possessing a security certification
