Job Description

Prisma Accessâ„¢ SASE (formally GlobalProtect Cloud Service) provides protection straight from the cloud to make access to the cloud secure. It combines the connectivity and security you need and delivers it everywhere you need it. Using cutting-edge public and private cloud technologies extending the next-generation security protection to all cloud services, customers on-premise remote networks and mobile users.

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop and deliver next-generation technologies within our Prisma Access team. We want passionate engineers who love to code and build great products. Engineers who bring new ideas in all facets of software development. We are looking for leaders who take ownership of their areas of focus and who are driven to solve problems at every level. Your impact will include:

  • Design, develop and implement highly scalable software features on our next-generation security platform as part of Prisma Access
  • Work with different development and quality assurance groups to achieve best in quality software
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the development process
  • Work with DevOps and the Technical Support teams to troubleshoot customer issues

Qualifications

Your experience should include:

  • B.S with 10+ years or MS with 8+ years of experience in building large enterprise applications
  • Proficient in L3-L7 network stack i.e. IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, routing protocols, DNS, DHCP et al
  • Excellent programming skills in Python or Golang or Java
  • Experience in Python is highly desirable
  • Experience with one or more cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes and their technologies (Lambda functions, SNS/SQS etc.)
  • Experience with databases SQL, NoSQL is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate with many cross-functional teams with an emphasis on end-to-end delivery
  • Experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding - standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, peer review, and operations
  • Strong leadership skills with a can-do attitude
  • High energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with LLMs and agentic AI development is a big plus.
  • Fast learner, independent, and eager to absorb new emerging technologies
  • M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent military experience required
