We're seeking a Distinguished Engineer to lead the architecture, scalability, reliability, and advanced detection algorithms of Palo Alto Networks' Data Loss Prevention (DLP) platform. This role drives the technical vision for low-latency, multi-tenant, and cost-efficient systems that power data protection across all product lines. You'll connect strategy across orgs, guide design and implementation standards, and mentor senior engineers to deliver world-class platform outcomes.
The Distinguished Engineer will define the long-term direction for the DLP platform architecture.
Ensure the platform meets the highest standards of performance and reliability through technical execution and optimization.
The role requires leadership in engineering standards and organizational consistency.

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $0 - $0/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
