Paddle

A platform providing payment processing, subscription and billing management services for software and SaaS companies.

What we do?

Paddle offers digital product companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.

We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 5000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.

The role:

As the Marketing Automation Specialist, you'll be the engine of our nurture strategy - designing, building, and optimising our lead lifecycle programs.

Your core purpose is to drive predictable, scalable, and efficient demand by ensuring nurture strategy, sequencing, segmentation, and automation work together to accelerate full-funnel conversion and measurable pipeline impact.

What you’ll do:

  • Automation strategy & execution: Design, build, and maintain sophisticated multi-touch nurture programs and marketing automation flows, ensuring seamless cross-channel alignment.

  • Segmentation & data quality: Own marketing database segmentation and list management, continuously improving data quality to ensure highly targeted messaging and accurate reporting.

  • System ownership: Serve as the expert for our Marketing Automation Platform (HubSpot) and CRM (Salesforce), ensuring smooth integration and operational efficiency.

  • Asset management: Manage the production and optimisation of email copy and web chat lead generation performance, ensuring brand compliance, quality, and technical deliverability. Analyse content performance, review content gaps, and work with the wider marketing team to ensure we have collateral to support our nurture streams.

  • Testing & optimisation: Implement A/B testing across all touchpoints (email, landing pages, forms, web chat prompts) to continuously increase open rates, click-through rates (CTR), and conversion volume.

  • Delivering pipeline growth: Build fully implemented, high-converting nurture flows. Optimise email delivery and health to drive strong engagement rates. Deliver high-quality MQLs and sales-ready pipeline via automated channels.

You'll work closely with:

Primary Marketing team:

  • Demand Generation: to build strategy that delivers business goals, including always-on program integration, reporting, and optimisation

  • Revenue Marketing: for strategic campaign integration

  • Web: for web performance, HubSpot integration, and form optimisation

  • Growth: for lifecycle alignment, and product adoption

  • PMM & Brand: for messaging, positioning, content, brand needs, and compliance

Cross-functional teams:

  • BDR/Sales Team: to deliver and scale high-quality MQLs and consistently improve pipeline conversion

  • Revops & Ops: for system health and attribution

We'd love to hear from you:

  • Technical expertise: Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Marketing Automation (e.g., HubSpot), enrichment tooling (Clay, Unify), and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

  • SaaS foundation: 5+ years of experience in digital marketing in the SaaS industry, with a strong focus on building cross-channel and multi-touch nurture streams.

  • Detail & data orientation: Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and proficiency in analyzing marketing data (e.g., Hockeystack, BIs, Google Analytics) to improve programs.

  • Execution & bias for action: A bias for action, results, and delivery—capable of operating with momentum over perfection.
