Marina Del Rey Hotel is looking for a Sales Manager! The Sales Manager is responsible for working with the General Manager / Director of Sales with the direct sales needs of the hotel. The Sales Manager is responsible for promoting the hotel to group business and transient segments.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to: exceeding guest expectations, demonstrating leadership, modeling appropriate behaviors, making decisions and solving problems, assisting in increasing revenues by soliciting new mid-week/week-end business, participating in industry and civic organizations, pro-actively pursuing and booking sleeping rooms and group business, maintaining knowledge of the competition, communicating effectively with all hotel departments, promoting a professional positive image, completing sales objectives, providing adequate follow-up, completing weekly and monthly sales reports, responding promptly to sales related inquiries, conducting proactive sales calls, qualifying and growing existing accounts, confirming group bookings, tracing accounts for follow-up, traveling as necessary for sales calls and trade shows, promoting all company managed hotels when appropriate, and responding promptly to reports and other assignments.

Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000/year
