- Lead the development of data systems supporting products for forest conservation and restoration
- Collaborate with engineering and science teams to build efficient compute and scalable transformation algorithms
- Design systems for easy data access and experimentation pathways
- Code systems and tools to enable high-quality insights for forest carbon projects
- Implement strategies and vision for data systems and work with teams to execute this vision

- Experienced in leading cross-team engineering efforts and working with data engineering at scale
- Proficient in Python programming, debugging, and system design
- Familiarity with distributed compute technologies and distributed systems concepts
- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment and passionate about environmental sustainability
- Strong mentorship skills and ability to advocate for best practices in data pipelines and compute
