PACCAR Engine Company has an immediate opening for a Safety Intern in Columbus, MS.

Job Functions / Responsibilities:

• Assist in Creating Safety Information Boards for each Department

• Assist Safety Manager in Creating Confined Space Inventory Listing

• Conduct Monthly Inspections in Facility to Improve Safety Knowledge

• Assist Safety Manager with Upgrading of Facility Evacuation Maps

• Review Policies and Procedures

• File Audits and Improve Record Keeping for Safety Documentation

Create HR Safety Dashboard using Data Analytics

• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

• Pursuing B.S. Degree in Human Resource, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, or Manufacturing Engineering

• MS Office proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint)

• Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment required.
