About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Growth Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing initiatives and drive user and revenue growth across our fintech products. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, takes ownership of results, and brings both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
You will be responsible for building and optimizing growth strategies across acquisition, activation, retention, and referral channels. From digital advertising and SEO to partnerships and product marketing, you'll play a key role in scaling our fintech solutions to support millions of small businesses across Africa.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product-led growth marketing strategies for each of our fintech products.
- Analyze user behavior and market trends to inform growth initiatives, with a focus on our markets of operation including Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Madagascar, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire and more.
- Build acquisition loops, run performance marketing campaigns, and deliver consistent growth in signups. Create 2–4 SEO/GEO-optimized content pieces (blogs, lead magnets, etc.) each month to generate and qualify leads.
- Create and manage product marketing communications that bring users back into our applications and increase lifetime value.
- Run monthly growth experiments to increase ROI, reduce CAC, and improve retention.
- Drive buzz and brand awareness through earned media and mentions in strategic publications, and help identify and execute new partnership opportunities.
- Work with product, sales, and leadership to align growth efforts and achieve company objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in growth marketing, including running digital advertising campaigns (Google, Meta, etc.) and creating SEO-optimized content.
- Prior experience in fintech or financial services, ideally Bank or SME-focused.
- Demonstrated success in designing and executing campaigns for African markets.
- Strong track record of independently driving growth initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Solid understanding of planning, budgeting, execution, and reporting processes.
- Knowledge of strategies to grow products to 1M+ users.
- Strong verbal and written communication, exceptional time management, and attention to detail.
- A genuine drive to solve the challenges faced by small business owners in Africa.
