In this position, you'll support daily operations by providing WMS user assistance, coordinating administrative workflows, maintaining training documentation, and serving as the primary liaison between Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and the customer for WMS-related needs. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and mastery of Excel who excels in being the resource for system support and operational efficiency.
Serve as the onsite WMS support liaison between O&M and the customer.
Troubleshoot WMS issues, user access challenges, and hardware problems (scanners, printers, etc.).
Partner with customer IT to resolve system errors and support WMS updates, enhancements, and integrations.
Conduct periodic system and operational validations, including item, location, and inventory data checks.
Develop, run, and interpret WMS reports to identify trends and efficiency opportunities.
Maintain and organize training documents, work instructions, and certification/licensing materials.
Support New Hire Orientation and coordinate building access and software user setup.
Prepare and present performance scorecards to leadership.
Utilize Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other tools to support reporting, analysis, and workflow management.
Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational performance.
Facilitate service vendor quotations from creation through payment.
Schedule contractors for preventive and reactive maintenance.
Coordinate delivery of services and supplies.
Support ordering of operational supplies
High school diploma or equivalent required.
College or associate degree preferred but not required.
Prior experience in distribution, logistics, or system support is required.
Experience with WMS platforms (Tecsys Preferred)
Must demonstrate strong technical aptitude with the ability to become proficient in WMS systems.
Mastery of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and mid-level administrative tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
Comfortable working on-site in a distribution center environment.
