Owens & Minor is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Salesforce Technical Architect to join our team. This senior-level position will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Salesforce solutions that align with our business objectives and technical requirements.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $130,000 - $140,000 yr. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.
Responsibilities:
Architecture Design:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into robust and scalable Salesforce architecture
- Design and document Salesforce solutions, including data models, integration architectures, security models, and deployment strategies
- Ensure that the proposed architecture adheres to best practices, industry standards, and Salesforce guidelines
- Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance to development teams on architectural decisions including documentation
Solution Implementation:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team during the implementation of Salesforce solutions
- Oversee the implementation of complex Salesforce features, such as custom objects, Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and flows
- Ensure the quality and performance of the implemented solutions through code reviews, testing, and optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with other systems and external data sources
Technical Governance:
- Establish and maintain technical governance processes, standards, and best practices for Salesforce development and deployment
- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and enforce coding standards, testing strategies, and deployment processes
- Provide guidance and training to the development team on Salesforce best practices and emerging technologies
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Salesforce solutions, including data storage, queries, and batch processes
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, implement caching strategies, and optimize data retrieval and processing
- Conduct regular health checks and audits to ensure the stability and efficiency of the Salesforce environment
Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers to estimate project timelines, resource requirements, and potential risks
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards
