- Responsible for designing and building production software for an embedded AI camera product, focusing on optimizing the OS for lower jitter and improving overall product reliability
- Work directly on the device client code that sits on the Nvidia Jetson, interfacing with hardware vendors to address root cause issues and resolutions
- Develop an OTA deployment framework for a fleet of cameras in the field, managing and improving the reliability of the camera system
- Collaborate on interfaces for device I/O with factory systems like PLC's, and work on high-impact features for customers
- Take ownership of ensuring rapid delivery of high-quality bug-free products and features to customers on the Jetson Linux system
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced software engineer with 3-5 years of relevant experience in embedded software development, particularly on Linux systems
- Detail-oriented individual with a strong background in designing and building production software for embedded AI camera products
- Proficient in working with low-level OS, containerization, and hardware, with a focus on optimizing system performance and reliability
- Skilled in troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems, as well as working with hardware vendors to identify and resolve issues
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and hardware vendors
