Otis is growing and is looking for a maintenance mechanic for one of our entities located in the West End of London. Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

On a typical day you will:

• Carry out 100% of the lift maintenance and service visits of the units within the West End of London.
• Work across the West End, managing the portfolio of lifts within it.
• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix.
• Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation of lifts.
• Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.

What you will need to be successful:

• Hold an NVQ level 3, or equivalent, in lift Service, Maintenance or Repairs.
• Hold a drivers license.
• You have at least 24 months of experience in the lift sector.
• Proven experience working with a wide range of kit not just OTIS products.
• You are a committed professional, that puts safety at the top of your priority list.
• Great problem solver, especially around technical issues.
• You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team.
• You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
