Service Account Representative
We are currently looking for a account management focused Service Account Representative located in Auckland, New Zealand.
In this role, you will contribute to the growth of the Otis lift and escalator service business, with a focus on successful contract management of some national accounts, and selling our value add products within the portfolio.
You will be part of a close knit professional team of Account Managers in regions around the country, with a strong daily connections, a network of camaraderie and constant support.
Professional, engaging customer relationships are key to success in this role. You are excited about proactively maintaining face-to-face contact with Otis Customers for growth outcomes and are experienced in contract compliance, and managing the day to day activity of large portfolios. Your interpersonal skills and professionalism will shine, especially with the colleague to colleague relationships needed to support excellent superior customer experiences.
You understand that a true business partner deeply understands the clients assets, condition and budget cycle, and you thrive in collating and presenting complex technical information to assist lifecycle budgeting. Your selling activities, including prospecting, presenting, proposing, tendering, securing, and processing, will meet the OTIS standards and customer requirements.

As a Service Account Representative, your key responsibilities are to:
- Achieve Service sales targets for the portfolio – unit and revenue – growth.
- Achieve Service sales targets for transactional, value add products for safety, passenger experience and lift reliability.
- Provide daily, professional, value-based account management to a portfolio of national accounts.
- Proactively maintain regular face-to-face contact with Otis Customers within the portfolio, occasionally requiring travel around the motu.
- Provide timely, accurate forecasts and reports to management and ensure the service portfolio has reduced exposure to out-of-tenure agreements.
- Proactively engage with our new installation customers to achieve 100% warranty conversions, and with prospective customers to expand the portfolio unit count and revenue base.
- Organise, prepare, and deliver customer presentations promoting the features and benefits of Otis's products and services, resulting in direct sales with new and existing customers.
- Act as a facilitator between Otis Customers and the Otis Operations team, assisting with developing, implementing and communicating solutions to customers.
- Support the wider business requirements by identifying, actively introducing, and collaborating for capital renewal and Modernisation sales success within the portfolio.
What you will need to be successful:
- Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Frontline Sales or Key Account Management.
- Those working in Sales within the Building or facilities industry are encouraged to apply.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- It will be an added advantage if you have experience working in or closely with the elevator industry.
- Have strong business acumen, be results-driven and demonstrate a good understanding of service selling.
- Be able to manage multiple accounts, be customer-focused, and anticipate client needs.
- You're a self-starter and enjoy working independently.
- You like to understand how things work and embrace new learning to pass on technical information reliably to Customers.
- Good knowledge of using technology, able to quickly learn bespoke data management systems, including mobile applications (Word, Excel, Email, Internet), and use technology to analyse data and trends.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and accurate, professional written skills.
