The FS Installation Process Specialist will be working on a variety of challenging technical assignments such as constructing, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, maintaining and installing equipment, RF products and electro-mechanical devices, components, and systems. You will need to assist others in training them in how to properly install equipment and where needed design fixtures and processes to install said equipment. Up to 75% travel will be required with extended stays.
Design and create processes to assist in the installation of systems
Design fixtures, tools and other items to aid in the installation of systems
Develop and implement process improvements and cost reductions
Specify processing and generate work instructions
Assist in building and assuring the proper tools, parts and hardware are ready to ship to site for installation
Perform difficult electronic, mechanical and technical assignments such as constructing, repairing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing & maintaining electronic and mechanical equipment, microwave products, electro-mechanical components, devices and systems
Work from schematics, engineering drawings, wire lists, written or verbal instructions
Recommend changes or modifications to improve the operation or the quality of electronic or mechanical products and equipment
Determines methods, operations and sequences in setting procedures for constructing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, processing, and modifying electronic and mechanical products and equipment as required
Train installation team on process controls and collaborate with Quality to meet specification

Associates degree in related technology or equivalent technical training, plus 5 years related experience or the combination of training and related experience equal to 10 year.
Five years of related experience
Active or recently active DoD issued Secret Clearance
Advanced skills in large scale assemblies and systems
Basic computer skills
Must be proficient writing and speaking English
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to read technical drawing and specifications
AutoCAD Proficiency

This position works in a production and customer site environment with the risk of injury. Some safety equipment must be worn when working with equipment. Bending, lifting and pushing up to 70 pounds is required.
TRAVEL UP to 75%
The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
