Corp Accts Account Manager

The Corporate Accounts Manager service and maintain relationships with current corporate customers selling Orgill products, programs, and/or services by identifying and contacting prospective clients and maintaining relationships with the existing customer base.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in planning and selling programs tailored to meet customer needs.
  • Negotiates terms, conditions, and programs with national accounts customers.
  • Coordinates internal activities to assure that items sold and services promised to customers are satisfactorily delivered.
  • Works with assigned accounts to maintain existing relationships and increase sales.
  • Manages as direct supervisor of one or more corporate account field sales representatives. Performs evaluations of sales representatives on a scheduled basis.
  • Trains and communicates with Orgill sales force to implement programs at the local level.
  • Perform other tasks as necessary or required to support the successful conduct of the business.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the hardware field.
  • Ability to utilize advertising and/or sales promotion techniques
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to deal with customers, vendors, and all channels of distribution to assess and analyze situations.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work and excel with minimal supervision.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Two to four years minimum experience in wholesale or retail hardware and/or lumber and building material and supply trade.
  • Must possess valid driver's license with a good driving record.
